WAR.ru is a documentary study of the first year of the Russian-Ukrainian war, presenting events in a «day by day» format, from the beginning of the annexation of Crimea (February 2014) to the finale of the Battle of Debaltseve (February 2015).

All events have depicted in chronological order, in the concise form and in the language that can be easily understood by the average reader. All the terms and concepts that may be required to understand events and processes described in the book are stated in «simple words.»

To ensure better understanding of the causes and preconditions of the war, the book provides the minimum necessary historical information and examples.

All information is readily available in open sources and can be easily verified to obtain in-depth understanding of the course of a particular episode.
