Even in the ruins of a shattered civilization, those who remain know that the old world has not disappeared. It is only sleeping, safely sheltered by these ruins. But what can the desperate desire to return at least some part of it result in? An obsession that clouds the brain or a goal that will dispel the fog of doubt and hesitation.
