The proposed collection includes the stories whose main heroes are animals. Ernest Thompson Seton (1860-1946) is one of the founders of animalistic genre in the world literature, whose works exercised a strong influence over other writers-animalists. He, with great love, truthfully, enthusiastically and extra skillfully, describes the behavior and actions of the animals who often find themselves in dramatic positions and display such courage, endurance, strength and thirst for life that it almost catches the readers' breath.
