Dubliners

Dubliners is a book of an Irish writer James Augustine Aloysius Joyce.

This is a collection of stories, written in a slightly impressionistic way, in which a life of citizens of the Ireland's capital city, so-called “middle-level gentlemen”, is described. It is the top of an Irish realistic literature of the beginning of the twentieth century. Joyce made it his aim to “write a chapter of a spiritual history of his nation.”
